It was really interesting to see the variety of favorite colors that fans posted! (Feel free to add your own answer on our Facebook page if you haven’t already!)

Envisioning how our fans favorite colors reminded them of summer was a lot of fun, so I thought I’d pull together some examples that illustrate some of the most popular color ideas they shared. From kids rooms and home offices to walk-in closets and craft rooms, a little color goes a long way.

Plus, as you’ll see, all of these summertime colors can work in your decor all year long!

An Ocean of Blues and Greens

When you see blue and green, you feel all of the emotions associated with gorgeous days at the beach, walking in the woods or playing in the park.

Bright and Bold Orange and Yellow

Summer is also a brighter season, where we all revel in the warm sunshine with friends and family. People are happier in good weather. Their outlooks are much sunnier and these colors really bring up those positive feelings.

 

A Touch of Red

Red is an amazing color, because it has a place in every season. In the summer, red is reminiscent of cherries, tomatoes, banners and popsicles.
